What is the Sovereign Order
We are a living, breathing, working Christian order of more than 1000 members worldwide.
We are governed by a chivalric structure and a strong sense of duty to support the needs of countries and communities in which we serve.
Our modern-day Sovereign Order is divided into Commanderies and Priories throughout Europe, North America and Australasia. The International office is located in Vancouver, Canada.
We are not a service club. Like our ancestors, the original Hospitaller Brothers and Sisters in Jerusalem, our Christian faith inspires us to follow Jesus’ example by serving people in need of all origins and faiths.
We are a community where faith meets action. Where tradition meets compassion. And where quiet commitment makes a real, measurable impact.
Through goodwill and devotion to a just cause, the Sovereign Order has been in the forefront of some of history’s greatest moments.
